The Assassination of Richard Nixon

Overall:
Sam Bicke is a man who believes in the American Dream. He also believes in honesty and integrity above all else.
When Sam finally realizes that, no matter where he goes, he is expected to lie, cheat and steal in order to make it to the top, he starts to loose his grip on reality. Already emotionally distraught because of he and his wife being separated, Sam begins to unravel.
As he nears the end of his downward spiral, he decides to take drastic measures and targets the one man he can rightfully blame all his woes on: President Richard Nixon.
Likes:
This movie was powerful and the tension was nicely established and held throughout.
Dislikes:
The movie dragged. It was far too slow. It's only 95 minutes long and at an hour I was ready for it to end.
In Closing
If you enjoy movies based on true events, and you don't mind retrospectives, then pick this one up. Definitely not as flashy as some of this week's other releases, but definitely one directed at adults who have a more sophisticated taste in movies.
